Small Changes is hosting the first of a run of monthly events to showcase and celebrate local conscious heroes, and make living consciously a little easier. From plant-based food/drink, to natural skincare, and sustainable fashion and craft. Join us and meet the people who are conscious about what we put into or on our bodies and the planet we share.
Drumcondra is your community and we are hoping to build a community curated space with workshops, talks, and local offerings. We’d love your feedback in order to curate future Drumconscious events – which will always remain free (some independent workshops may incur a fee). All we ask is that you bring an open mind, your own cups/containers for food/drink/household refills, and maybe some music recommendations for our growing playlist.
Featured pop-ups and how to get involved in the swop shop:
Beo: Plant based, natural and organic food exploring the old traditions of fermentation and pickling elevating probiotic and medicinal cuisine. Expect vegan cheese boards with pickled and ferments and savoury pastries!
Buttercream Dream: Dublin’s first and only vegan cake pop-up shop providing vegan indulgence at its finest – think luxurious treats that satisfy not only your sweet tooth, but your conscience too. Made in small batches for ultimate freshness and quality, using local non- GM ingredients and recyclable packaging and materials – but of course you can bring your own containers.
King of Kefir: Fermented non alcoholic beverages, naturally full flavoured, low in calories and teeming with gut friendly bacteria from water kefir. Made in small batches in the heart of Dublin since 2014, in Ireland’s first dedicated water kefir brewery. King of Kefir will be available on tap on the evening, and can be paired with Off The Cuffe Irish Bitters if you fancy a summer mocktail. We encourage you to BYO cup.
Bodhi Blends: Hand crafted balms, sprays and lotions using plant based potions. Working with high quality, organic and ethically sourced botanical ingredients to create products that are designed to support and nourish inside and out. With ethical packaging and refill options.
The Nature of Things: Simple, natural and ethically produced essential oils. The Nature of Things only source from producers who have a proven record of sustainable practices, working hand in hand with their communities to protect the environment and support their local economies. Whenever possible they source essential oils that are organic certified and/or fair trade certified.
