Defend The Defenders Campaign Defend the Defenders is a short documentary examining the risks faced by human rights defenders in Guatemala. Some private companies are responsible for serious human rights violations. These range from threats to violent attacks on communities and individuals, known as human rights defenders. Trócaire’s short documentary examines such realities. The film is linked to Trócaire’s campaign calling for an international treaty on Business and Human Rights. Emmet Sherrin, Campaigns Outreach Officer with Trocaire will show the documentary followed by a Q&A session. If you would like to come along, just pop in to the ABC building before the screening begins at 7:30pm on Wednesday April 10. Admission is free.
