Oil Paintings

Laura Trueman is a contemporary painter and draughts person working mainly in oil paint and dry media. She loves the outdoors, her favourite studio being nature. She captures light, character, form and likeness with her subjects. The painting in the Exhibition have all been created on location in differing weather conditions. She states ‘Painting en Plein air is a way for me to feel connected to the environment I am in and a way for me to communicate in my own visual terms’.
